model.author.description

Alexandre Beridze is part of the list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (ARTEEX). The French call him "The King of Abstraction". His works were exhibited in America, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Monaco, Russia, France. His works are in private collections of Ivanka Trump, Joan Collins, Alisher Usmanov. The trendsetters of style - Elle, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle devoted their glossy pages to his work, and the editor-in-chief of Le Figaro even published his article on the front page of the famous French newspaper. Alexandre Beridze is the grandson of the Soviet artist Fyodor Kholenkov, is the winner of the prestigious Italian Sandro Botticelli Prize, and has been living in France since 2000. In 2009 he founded the Free Painters art movement. Grandfather's lessons, plus a classical education, became Alexander's fundamental education. In 2008 Alexandre created his first abstract painting. The famous "abstract period" of the artist began with her. Alexandre discovered a completely unexpected and new direction of seemingly long-known abstractionism- the direction called the Mental Figurative. In an unimaginable way, he combined traditional abstraction with fantastic geometry of feelings and incredible mixing of colors, which in the end makes us not just admire his masterpieces, but think. Think about life, about death, about the mysteries and riddles of our modern world. And, most importantly, - to feel, worry and empathize - this is where the most important secret of Alexandre Beridze's paintings is hidden, which has not been solved by anyone until now. “Abstraction for me is one of the most intellectual trends in painting. In the process of work, I study the basics and different ways of creating the desired "picture", which is in my imagination, but which materializes on the canvas in its own, free, and sometimes the most unexpected way. An abstract artist is an eternal judge in a pure duel between fantasy and reality! There is a lot of social and problematic in contemporary art, and I want people, looking at my paintings, to plunge into dreams, I strive to give an opportunity to enjoy and see beauty. "
