THE BEST RUSSIAN CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

The list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (49ART-arteex) -  of authors not older than 1960 year of birth , was made by  ARTEEX   based on their creations  evaluation , popularity , commercial activity  (their titles, awards , participations in exhibitions and fairs , auctions , mention in art-ratings , presence of their works in museum collections  and so on  were taken into consideration). 

Some authors were included in the list of Best contemporary artists within the programme   Discovery (based on expert recommendations), which allows to open new talents to the art-society.  

ARTEEX does its best to be objective making the list, but anyway it reflects only subjective position of ARTEEX.

The maximum number of names in the List is – 250 authors (Top-250). Nowadays the list is being supplemented. The list is open. ARTEEX is   considering suggestions of including authors in the list of best contemporary artists.

Diana Malivani is part of the list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (ARTEEX). Artist Diana Malivani, by her training and profession, is a Doctor of Medicine (M.D., Ph.D.). She is represented by internationally reputable art galleries Zatista in the US, Singulart and Artsper in France, and The Artling in Singapore. Her works were published in international art journals: Forth Magazine, Los Angeles; ACS Magazine, Chicago; Peripheral ARTeries, Art Reveal and Inside Artists, London; and Artfuly Magazine, Sydney. Diana’s paintings are offered for sale on 1stDibs and Artsy, the leading online art marketplaces in the US, and they are listed by auction houses Artprice and Drouot in France and Barnebys in Sweden. Her artworks are held in the collections of both National Museums in Russia and private collectors in more than 20 countries: US, UK, France, Italy, Japan etc. Diana’s art has deserved several essays by British art critics Timothy Warrington and Christopher Rosewood. «Malivani impeccably coalesces diverse artistic attitudes to convey her meaning through learned visual and philosophical channels» (T. Warrington). «Diana Malivani possesses an inspirationally innovative approach through which she brings together various artforms and presents her limitless imagination and creativity. Her thirst for new approaches incites an enlightening visual and cerebral experience that leaves the spectator roused by her energy but free to explore the boundless meanders of colour, gesture and rhythm» (C. Rosewood). The International Confederation of Art Critics in London awarded Diana’s artwork at London Art Biennale 2019 and published a book on her artistic oeuvre under the name «Diana Malivani. L’Art de Vivre».
