Art duet EliKuka included in the list of the Best Russian contemporary artists (ARTEEX).
EliKuk's art duet is a union of two avant-garde artists, Oleg Eliseev and Yevgeny Kukoverov. EliKuk works with such media as painting, graphics, installation, video, performance.
Their work is a mix of street underground and contemporary art in its minimalist and shocking forms: "the process of communication with people, and with those who are far from modern art, is more important to Us. We want as many viewers as possible to be able to somehow associate our art with themselves, with their lives, so we try to speak in a language that will be understandable to any person... Our friend the artist said that in order for the picture to hang smoothly, it is not necessary to touch the picture itself, you can simply turn the house painted on it. In this perspective, we are working – if the picture hangs crooked, it is necessary to turn the house."
